The Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences announces competitions for doctoral students from Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences, organized as part of the strategic program Excellence Initiative at the Jagiellonian University ("ID.UJ") – 2024 EDITION, in Visibility&Mobility Module and Skills Development&Engagement Module.

Schedule of the 2024 Edition competition, round I: 

• 20. March 2024 – start of the call for applications (strefaid.uj.edu.pl)
• 4. April 2024  (until midnight) – call for applications ends
• 8. April 2024 (until midnight) – deadline for supplementing any deficiencies:
• by 26. April 2024 – decisions of the evaluation teams and Competition Committee
• by 29. April 2024 – announcement of results on the Doctoral School's website 

Important! 

• Financial support will cover activities starting in the second half of May 2024 at the earliest and ending by May 31, 2025
• Submission of applications in all modules only via the system https://strefaid.uj.edu.pl/.

• 23. April 2024  (until midnight) – call for applications ends
• 25. April 2024 (until midnight) – deadline for supplementing any deficiencies:
• by 17. May 2024 – decisions of the evaluation teams
• 21. May 2024 – decisions of the Award Committee
• by 22. May 2024 – announcement of results on the Doctoral School's website 

Important! 

• The Competition is open to persons who have the status of a doctoral student/participant of doctoral studies both on the day of submitting the application in the competition and on the day of awarding the prize by the Award Committee (the day of the Awards Committee's decision).
• There is only one round in the Excellence Module competition.

PhD students who obtained funding under IDUJ competitions are required to fulfil the information and promotion obligation in the scope of activities carried out under the IDUJ program.

The rules for labelling the results of scientific work, achievements, research results and the purchase of research equipment and apparatus are included in the Announcement of the Chairman of the Implementation of the Strategic Program ID.UJ of September 5, 2022.
