The Foundation for Polish Science has announced this year's list of 100 outstanding young scientists. Among the laureates were 3 doctoral students from our school:
• Damian Jędrzejowski from the Chemistry education programme
• Tomasz Szołdra from the Physics education programme
• Weronika Szukała from the Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology education programme
Each of them will receive a prize of PLN 30 000.
In addition, a graduate of our School (Biomedical Sciences education programme), Ms Elżbieta Wątor, received an additional distinction for outstanding achievement and an award increased to PLN 38 000. It is worth mentioning that only four such distinctions were awarded!
From the entire Jagiellonian University, 11 people received awards, the third best result among all universities in the country.
