Doctoral students may apply for one-time aid from the Support Fund for students and doctoral students of the Jagiellonian University when they are temporarily in a difficult financial situation related to:

1. the Covid-19 pandemic, especially if them, or their spouse or parents have lost the source of income, or suffer from the income decrease or death of a closest person, due to SARS-CoV-2 virus contamination,
2. increase of dormitory fee or flat rent for PhD student’s accommodation due to the economic situation,
3. an armed conflict in the country of their – or their immediate family member’s – permanent residence, especially if they have lost their source of income, or if they – or their immediate family members – have had to abandon the place of their residence and they are bearing the costs of that.

The maximum amount of assistance is PLN 1500, and in special cases - PLN 2500.
