Mahsa Shahbandeh

Mahsa Shahbandeh is a first-year Ph.D. student in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management. Her main research interest centres on land-use change, agricultural land abandonment, spatial planning, GIS, and remote sensing. She is also concerned about ecosystems’ changes and environmental issues. For her master’s thesis, she researched time series analysis of land and climate change of an endangered area. For her Ph.D. thesis, she is working under the supervision of professor Jacek Kozak.
